The apartments Mirko Jakuc – Lopar are situated on an ideal location, in the range of 50 to 250 meters from the apartments there are restaurants, grocery store, ATM, sandy beaches and the town center with all major tourist facilities.

Lopar is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations for family holidays on the Adriatic Sea, Lopar is located on the island of Rab, 12 km away from the old town Rab. Lopar is a sandy paradise for families with children, weaker swimmers and nudists, and it’s rugged coastline dotted with tiny hidden coves is ideal for nautical tourism.

Lopar, with its 22 sandy beaches according to estimates of the American TV company CNN is listed among the 10 most beautiful destinations in the world.

Lopar`s History

Lopar is a picturesque tourist place 14 km away from the old town nucleus of Rab. The pre-historic site on its promontory “Zidine”, Liburnian hill-forts and the grave mounds scattered all around the peninsula are an evidence that it was populated at the time and are also an evidence of the importance this part of the island had in ancient history. For example, Lopar was the native place of St. Marin, stone-carver and founder of the Republic of San Marino.

The place is encircled by many bays, and with 22 sand beaches offers the best that beaches is the famous magnificent natural beach Crnika – Rajska plaza (Paradise beach), over 150 metres long, along which the hotel rsettlement and the motor-camp “San Marino” extend.

Lopar is also known for a natural phenomenon – the submarine cave «Medova buza», which is in fact the habitat of the Mediterranean monk seal, where international marriages are organized for those fond of sensations.

Our Accomodation

Apartments Jakuc offer comfortable accommodation in Lopar on island Rab. Apartments are situated in a family house which is located just 250 meters from the beautiful sandy beach San Marino in Lopar. The accommodation is suitable for family vacations in Lopar, summer holidays for a group of friends or active holidays on island Rab.

Accommodation is offered in 5 fully equipped and air-conditioned apartments with a capacity of 6+3, 4+2 and 2+1 beds. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and living room, bedroom, bathroom and a spacious terrace with table and chairs. The apartments have air conditioning, satellite TV, Internet .. In a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of greenery, guests can use the barbecue and a common terrace. Parking is provided.



ENTERTAINMENT

A typical day on Rab starts with a healty breakfast before going to the beach and enjoying sun and sea, followed by a light lunch and a nice nap in the shade of the pines. Of course, some people prefer to bike, hike, even kayak around the island before the sun sets. Before dinner you can go explore numerous shops, souvenir shops and amusement parks, then grab a cocktail, go dancing and even enter a beauty contest before hitting the clubs.

EXCURSIONS

As in the days of old, tourists are often taken to the beaches on board of Mini taxy boats, that leave from Lučica San Marino and port Rab or port Škver/Palit. Daily and half day trips are also available, with a glass bottom boat, to the nearby islands of Sv. Grgur, Goli Otok, Baška on the island of Krk, Košljun, Zavratnica, even fishing trips, which are becoming increasingly popular. Favourite destinations are Frkanj, the love peninsula full of hidden bays, Maman and Lopar peninsula.

SPORTS

Active vacation is not only a way to relax by making your body produce happy endorphines, it is equal parts learning about your surroundings and keeping healthy. Lucky for you, Rab is ideal for this kind of vacation with all the natural beauty, organised tours and plenty of hiking and biking trails. Along the route you just may discover enchanting landscapes, old tone houses and rare natural beauty. Don’t waste time, hop on a bike or rent a kayak.
